  • Passager "fuzzy" bezel

I am trying to remove the Passenger side dark fuzzy dash bezel without disassembling the entire dash. Is this possible? Does anyone know any tricks that will safely remove it without damaging anything?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Pull the glove box door off, if your arm is small enough, you can get back in there with a pair of plyers, or the correct size wrench.

it's not fun tho, expect some scratches (on your arm!)

It is tight but can be done....for the easiest way, remove the passenger seat and the glove box door...then you can lay on your back on the passenger floor(make sure you put a thick blanket or something over the seat studs to protect your back!) you can look up(wear safety glasses to avoid debris in your eyes) and it should be about a 1/2" socket that will remove the 2 retaining nuts(I am going by memory on that size). It is not on that tight and usually you can turn the socket by hand(I recommend using a deep socket). It is a tight fit but not impossible and the above suggestions make it a lot easier on you....

        Passenger Fuzzy

I am updating this old post

To remove the passenger Fuzzy panel you need

        1. Remove passenger seat (not neccessay but easier to work.)

        2. Remove glove box by removing two phillips inside glov box, or three phillips under the glove box that hold the hinge on.

        3. 18mm yes (18mm) socket and socket wrench (best tool)

        4. These are low torque twist nuts on plastic studs one nearest to driver is easy.

        5. One on passenger side (remove wires loom from white holder)

        6. Remove white holder, very easy (makes more room for wrench)

        7. Remove second nut (fuzzy will fall so watch out)

        Intallation is oppisite of removal

I just swapped the ones in my two cars, trust me the fewer times you get in and out the better so take all tools
