  • Turbo coupe exhaust manifold

I am looking for an exhaust manifold for my '84 SVO. I have seen several threads re: the turbo coupe part.

    My question:

What is the correct year T'bird to get this part off of?

    Thanks

    Turbo coupe

1987 or 1988 is the best.

As long as it says E6XX-XXXX and not E3XX-XXXX on the side of it, you are ok.

        Got an '88 E6

        Thanks guys,
I was on the phone with a junkyard while I was at work asking them to go ahead and pull the manifold off of an '88 Turbo Coupe. I was hoping that it was the correct one. I knew E6 was right, but not sure of the year on the car. Anyway they pulled it and I asked if it was stamped E6XXXX they said yes.

Luck was on my side for once.

I have never done any porting before, but look forward to opening it up some.

I intend on squaring off the D shaped port between the manifold and the turbo.

            Anything else?

            Thanks,

Yeah, the runners get smoothd out and if you take the EGR plug out of the end, you can open up the entire length inside too.
The BATFE should be a convenience store.
