View Full Version : Strut Tower Brace
Just put on a strut brace from Mustangs Unlimited and I have to say the car turns much better now, not near as much push. I highly recomended a strut brace.

 Just a big kid! Some close ups of the tower and how they are attached!
My camera just went dead so Ill get some pics tomorrow. But just alittle run down on the mounting; it mounts with 2 bolts into the firewall(just take off the wipers & vent to acsess) and 2 bolts on each tower, you can reach under the fender to acsess.
Here ya go. One thing I forgot to mention is that the passenger side fo the brace is too close to the top of the strut thus the D-knob will not turn to adjust the strut. But a small price to pay for the improvement in handling. I just use an adjustable wrench in stead, problem solved. :)

JayG, am I wrong in assuming that the brace will not fit with a stock i/c??

There is a strut brace that is made for the SVO.......dealer? ask Paul at SVPU.
I used the Kenny Brown "SCCA legal" two point brace that just tied the two shock towers together..........seemed to work perfect.
