  • Weld Drag lite wheels

Hey all, I'm looking to mount a set of Weld Drag lite wheels for the SVO. Does anyone know what size and offset I should be running? Do I need to run a 16" or 15" wheel? Any help would be appreciated.

15 by 3 and 1/2 ,not sure of the off set,15 by 10 with 6.5 backspaceing.A set of drag stars would look better in my opinion.

      Roger,

I still have the DragLite's I mentioned to you prior. They are 15" X 3/12 w/new tires. They will fit the SVO but but you need longer studs. Send me a PM if you're intested.

If I use a 15 x 7 wheel instead of the 10" width, does that mean I should use a 3.5" backspacing? Thanks!

If you are retaining the stock SVO rear axle setup or have an 8.8 but have used the SVO brakes and axles, etc, in your 8.8 housing, you will need a MINIMUM of a 5.50" backspace. Otherwise they will stick out of the fenders like a wanker style 78 Camaro Z 28 back in 1980 with 10" wide keystones throwing rainwater on the car behind them as they drive up the hwy...lol. [Trust me 4", 4.5" 5" tried them all and no go.. need a MIN. of 5.50"]

Now, when I bought my Draglites, I was told that the biggest backspace available was a 5.50" backspace. So, I have my Draglites which are 15" x 8" x 5.50" backspace and anything more than an 8" wide ET Drag will not only not look nice, but your fenderwells will be chopping the tires up on hard launches or bumps... The setup I have is marginal and a 6" or 6.5" backspace in a 5 lug Draglite, would be a lifesaver..
