sunroof removal

Ok I just got an 86 svo that has a sunroof. My question is this, If there is a sunroof cover obviously the sunroof can be removed. How do I do this?

Removal

Undo the rear latch. From outside the vehicle gently lift up on the back abd pull rearward. You may have to jockey from side to sidewhile pulling back until both tabs come free. This is what works for me

So I don't have to remove any screws or something? Cause it looks like I'd have to remove the screws on the back.

I kind of half *** tried today, but I couldn't get it to move.

On the back, where the latch is, there are two(2) chrome pieces that are spring-loaded. If you squeeze them towars the center (towards each other) they will "unlock from the rest of the latch system...Then the sunroof can be released.
