after searching the archives really well i did not find a lot on first mods.

oh, i just got a 86 svo and it only has a computer or a chip...showed me a 12.9 timesip for it which was very impressing to me. anyway...

i did see boost controller, what would be the best way to g ofor the money?

downpipe, is this a good first mod? which is the best for the money?

seems stock cat-back is fine, should i kill the stock cat and resonator for some more flow?

what are some other good first mods for this car?

Eric's got ya heading in the direction. We've covered these before. If you have any questions after reading that thread - just ask or...you're welcome to come over and look at some of these mods you're wondering about (most are installed on my SVO). I'm in Marietta....and bring your car, I would LOVE to see a stock SVO that runs 12.9s....

thanks for the he;p and the welcome guys, i hope to learn as much here abouit the svo as i know about the 4.6 mod motors, if anyone needs help with these feel free to pm me sometime also.


i just realized that i didnt post this but that 13.9 was on slicks and with 116 octane gas, that should make a little difference.
