  • Video Of Barber Motorsports Park

OK I found this in my latest Mustang Times. It is video of Barber Motorsports Park by the lead instructor, Jeff Purner. Here is the link ... www.porschedriving.com/hot_lap.mov There is also a full page description detailing every turn in the Mustang Times.

Nice video right there. But, man .. a porsche sure sounds like crap exhaust-wise, huh? That looked like 2 full laps.

I was just thinking maybe I should have posted this in the Reunion 2006 section? Maybe people don't realize this is the track they'll be driving on come reunion time? And yes I was surprised by the sound of the Porsche. I'm wondering if it's a non-turbo car? I heard no spool up at all. Kinda sounds like my Murray lawn tractor in deep grass...

Hopefully that was take on Sunday. Nice track though. Go or not go. Hmm.

I wonder, do they allow passing? Straights?

Neat video, I agree with Henson, looks like they're doing a sunday drive. Do you know if you can sign-up for track time at a later date? I'm looking to buy a trailer and if I get one, I'd be interested in the track time. No trailer, no TT for me. I've already registered for the car show, but didn't sign up for TT yet....

            Thanks - JT

Henson - intermediate and advanced groups can pass. Novice group has a pacecar and no passing.

JT - track spaces are first come - first served. They'll probably sell out.
