2002 Show and Shine

Hey, I am planning on coming down to the Show and Shine on Saturday. My Lighting isn't anything special-- in fact it is 100% stock, but I figured it will be great to see all the (different/mod'd) SVO's and L's in one place.

Many Questions... Is a schedule of times available somewhere? Like when does the show start, when can we get in, et cetera. Actually a schedule would be great for the whole weekend-- I'd think others are wondering too (maybe). Is the show all outside? What numbers of cars/people are expected? Is it a quasi public place? I ask this last one as I was considering bring my pup along but not sure if it is alright. It's 15 bucks for the show (to be in the show I an assuming) does that include access to the Museum? Can you simply just visit the show for free? What facilities are available (bathrooms, snacks, et cetera). Sorry if this is on the web page-- but if it is, it's hidden pretty well as I couldn't find it.

Friday ...

Drag Strip at STEELE RACEWAY from 6pm - till whenever - Cost is $10 per person. You can run and/or watch for the same money.

Hospitality Room at Hampton INN - 6pm to 10 pm. FREE

Saturday...

Show/Shine - 8am-4pm.
Registration from 8-12noon.
Registration is $15.00 per vehicle. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO QUALIFY FOR DOOR PRIZES.
Participant Judging from 12noon-2pm
Door Prizes given out throughout the day, but the bigger items won't be given out until after 3pm
Awards - 3:30pm

The event is OUTDOORS in the parking lot of the Motorsport Museum. I think there's a small $$ to tour the Museum. But, I'm not 100% (Ty should be able to better answer this).

Concessions will be on hand, but NOT provided for free.

Hospitality Room at the Hampton INN - 6pm to 10pm - FREE

Sunday...

Track open at 7am - we can run til 5pm. Everyone has to be OFF PROPERTY by 7pm ..or maybe it's "by dark" - I'll have to check with the Track Owner to 100%.

Concessions will be on hand, but not provided for free.

Steele Dragway is opening up for us at "8pm". Admission is $10 to spectate or to run.

Saturday:

Bud covered everything except for the Museum prices.

The admission for show entrants to the museum will be:

MUSEUM
$7.00 adults, $6.00 ages 7 to 17, under 6 free.

Speedway tour van (if available)
$3.00 adults, 2.00 ages 7 to 17, children under 6 free

Adults can buy a combo ticket (Museum & Speedway Tour) for $8 adults, $6 for ages 7 to 17.

Sunday:

Bud covered everything.
