  • Stuff to do at Pell City

Last year, I think some wives talked of forming some Female SVO club to figure out things to do during the "male bonding" phases of reunion's. Anything ever come of that? If Pat_in_LA's wife doesn't come, anyone know what my wife can do while we are there? Be nice, I am a member. Anyone been to Pell City before?

Mine's coming. She plans on sitting by the pool all day reading trashy romance novels. She's a trooper but wouldn't know an intercooler from a rum punch cooler and likes it that way. I'm cool with that.

Well....Pell City is about as big as a Wal-Mart....BUT if you snag a rental...the city of Birmingham is not far away at all....PLENTY to do & see there with some pretty deep history.

Now....aside from all that, this place is a must as my girlie has threatened my life if I dont take her here one day: http://www.unclaimedbaggage.com Just somethin' different for ya.

My wife will be joining me this year. I'm planning on towing, so she'll have access to the Tahoe - room for at least 5....

JTurbo, I like your thinking with the tahoe, although I did enjoy stealing Flem Flams' rental last year. Gator, you are my kind of people (at least your girlie anyway) with that link, and Gyrhead, I think your wife has the right idea! That is the first thing Annette told me, "they have an outdoor pool!" Trashy novels, not so good tho......

Maybe we could recruit a local split-tail to take ya'lls non-car enthusiast women cow tippin' or something there-abouts? Hey - don't knock it unless you've tried it. Them cows never know what hit em'.

Otherwise - Pell City is pretty remote. They'd probably have to drive into B'ham for some action.

you could all go visit Svopaul at his shop in odenville,Alabama ( roughly 10 minutes outside Pell City..

                  he's never doing much...

gator, I sure do hope your girlie isn't to disappointed with unclaimed baggage.
10 years ago it was one heck of place with all sorts of treasures. Now it's not so great. Guess with the new no carry on rules buisness may start picking back up for them.

My wife knows everything about the SVO and isn’t afraid to tell you about it.
