2 1/2" elbow

I am have a turbo built (should be done tomm), and it has a 2 1/2 inch elbow coming out of the turbo... i really wanted a 3 inch.. how restrictive is 2 1/2 compared to 3? or is it really i mean reallllllyyyyyy gonna make a difference? what if you went from that 2 1/2 inch into a 3 inch pipe? i'll post a pic when i pick the turbo up tomm.

EDIT: ooops i thought we were talking about the compressor side.

yes then go 3" out the exhaust

unless your making insane boost, 2.5 should be more than enough.

This is on the exhaust side right??? Do it once with the 3" and you'll never look back. 2.5 would be good but....
On the ic pipeing just try and keep it all the same size.

yeah, the exhaust side... well im going to get the turbo today probably and i will see if they have a 3" elbow, if they have 2 1/2" i don't know why they wouldn't have 3"
