I'm in, I'll be heading down from Mass to PA (near NinjaBoy) the night before I actually make the Looooooooong drive to Bama. From what I can tell, I-81S looks to be the most direct route.

I'm sure you can share a room with someone. Get yourself in a ride and worry about the room when you get here.

I just cancelled reservations for a non smoking room with two queen beds, so there should be at least one more room available now.

I had reserved two rooms because my stepson and granddaughter were going to go with us, but they had to cancel. I've been to every reunion except the first one in '98. I'm going for some kind of record.

I cannot let another year go by without making the reunion. I booked the hotel room months ago with the hope to bring the family (wife, four kids, and a stray nephew). The family is getting gun shy of the long ride (just drove back and forth to Ohio last week) and now I have a buisness trip the week before.

Anyway, I must go! I will either fly in or if I end up back in NJ, maybe hook up with the Jerzey caravan.

I'd be up for meeting up along the way. There are a couple of SVO owners in my area who might be up for it, too.

You know it's a long ride when NC is along the way:)

08-21-2006, 10:18 PM
Well, I can't get anyone around here to go, so I'll just meet up with everyone on the highway. Is there a number I can call?

08-21-2006, 10:24 PM
we're not going via NC sorry:doh:

Ok fellow NE attendees - my current travel plans are as follows:
Leave Mass at Noon on Wed, drive to Harrisonburg, VA (reservation at a Hampton Inn, just off I-81)
Leave Thurs AM from Harrisonburg to make the balance of the trip. If anyone wants to meet up, drop me a PM and I'll give you my cell phone.
