  • Parts for sale and raffle giveaways for Reunion 2006

OK, so what are you guys bringing for sale and what is being offered up for the raffle?

I've been told by an SVOCA director that the MCA may frown on "vendors" listing parts for sale in our area without possibly paying a contingency to them, although they have no problem with raffle giveaways. To get around this, all sales should be conducted away from the track.

I can have some items available and will pack accordingly in advance if I know your needs. Here's what I can bring:

    1) Semi metallic brake pads. Some of you will need them more than you think you will. Price TBD depending on interest. Not over $30 per set.

    2) New replacement turn signal switches. $35.

    3) Dew wipes. I have some with damaged metal but the rubber is in great shape. Can install back at the hotel as per the tech article in the members area. $70.

    4) Charging system wiring loom upgrade kits, bolt-on for stock system as well as the upgraded alternators. These are 6 gauge for stock systems, 4 gauge for the upgraded alternators and include a MEGAFUSE in the wiring. I will do a tech session on these. $20.

    5) Stainless braided teflon Turbo oil feed lines. NO ADAPTERS NEEDED. Bolts right in to stock fitting locations on head and turbo. $40.

Several of these items will be given away at the raffle.

OK let's see it. What have you got?

Yeah, just be sure to do your selling and horse trading of parts at the Hotel. We'll have the Hospitality Room open on Fri-Sat night.

MCA has asked that people do not display parts be sold on the show field. If you want to sell parts, you'll need to purchase a vendor slot.

Wanna trade for some Rosso Corsa wire ties and a fresh schrader valve core? I may even throw in a bicycle pump.

horse-trading is usually, "I'll give you this bar of gold for that header panel" type stuff

I'd be interested in a wiring loom upgrade kit.

That wiring loom upgrade kit may be on my purchase list as well.

The only item I can think of off the top of my head right now is a slightly used Esslinger underdrive crank pulley w/correct length belts. The pulley doesn't like to charge under 1500 rpm with a stock alternator kit, FWIW.

I will have to dig through my stuff for additional items for sale. May have some extra brochures that Paul and I picked up back in '99 from Carlisle (sheesh that was a while ago now).
