What does a guy do if he needs ball joints on an SVO. I have read that they are part of the control arm.

Ummm.....
Have them machined, (at your own risk) to fit SN95 or other suitable replacement joints, or upgrade the entire front end to SN95, etc. Not a lot of fun, so I hear. I think someone on turboford.org is doing a replacement set with replacable joints, but not sure where that is at, or maybe you could get lucky and find a set at the JY from a Lincoln....
Hope that helps...Good Luck

The guy who is head of producing the lower control arm is Chris Roth. I just the other day sent a spindle to D&D Performance to check for proper fit and adjustment. Very soon we will have a bolt on replacement. There was a inquiry on this site a few months ago asking for interest in the control arms to get the required number of orders to produce this item.

I'd go for 2 or 3 sets ( both left and right ) provided they weren't priced too high. What about cores for rebuilding ? Is this something that could be investigated ?
