Fumes inside??

Upon purchase of 86 there was an odd smell?? on the inside. Now, running heater some and running car hard(both for the first time), I detected the smell of antifreeze but then changed to original odd smell??, but more strong. No antifreeze on inside, but I will check heater core. Any other way for fumes to get inside? Tight body, 60k. Thanks.

sounds like classic signs of a heater core leaking

check the passenger side floorboard.. see if it is damp, and smells "sweet"
