ok I have just begun looking into putting a new downpipe on my 1986, the info I am gathering is driving me crazy. I guess I want to know who make the best downpipe that has the easiest fit while on my back in my garage. I will be pulling the trans to do the clutch and will replace it then. Not running a cat is not a problem. Atr, sacramento mustang, argghhhh what else?

jon its funny you just asked that,thats what i was here to ask about.i have duals on my 2.3 turbo notch and it looked like the sacramento pipe was the way to go,my notch has a 86 svo cat back with a gutted cat,and the sacramento pipe would go from the turbo outlet all the way to the stock y pipe flange, eliminating the cat.NOW for my question, on my 84 SVO,who makes a 3" dp that runs from the turbo to the intermediate pipe,eliminating the cat? sacramento only makes that short universal dp for 84s,what i want to do is run a 3" dp to the stock single 2.25"exhaust and loose the cat. thanks
