Any one looked into Ford Fusion Rims

for the SVO. I saw a Fusion yesterday and the rims didn't look to bad, so I check the pattern and offset. They are 17X7,5 LUG,4 1/2" BOLT PATTERN,44MM OFFSET. But they also have 16" rims on some. I am looking for a cheap set, I might try them. Ony thing is the center hole looks small

cant say that ive looked into them but they dont look bad at all, esp if you could get them real cheap from someone who is swapping their fusion rims. good luck with that and keep us posted on what you find out

Those look nice. I also like the Mercury Marauder 18 inch rims too... I am not sure if they fit or not, but I think they would look good too.

No I have been really busy. I will try this weekend. I need to pull the wheels off my maurauder anyway and clean the insides so i will try and swap one of them onto the svo.Im afraid i will like it so much I wont want to take it off lol

I did do some test fitting of the 06 GT wheels. They look similar to the Fusion. I can't fit the center caps, but I think I will be able to work around that. I just need new tires.

I do want to see the Fusion wheels and the Marauder wheels on the SVO though.... The Marauder are 18's... I think they would look really good.

I really like the way those wheels look on an SVO. I will try my best to get a couple of the rauder rims on the SVo this weekend

I am still looking for a cheap set of Fusion rims. Christmas killed us this year. My oldest son got a laptop and the youngest a motorcycle.

The 06 GT wheels look pretty nice based on the pics from BlackSVO! You can see the DNA link between the Fusion and GT wheels. The main styling differences is the flaring of the spokes on the GT's as compared to the Fusion's. If the bolt pattern works, the Fusion version may look a little bit 'cleaner'.

Has anyone tried to fit the 18's from the 06 GT's? Either one of these models?

The Fusion wheels look good but the hub is small. What is the best way to make them work, remove material off the rotor or wheel?

a reputable machine shop should be able to remove the required amount. they should also be able to tell you if they have to remove so much as to make it unsafe.
i would not advise removing material from the hub for several obvious reasons.
