  • how to make an avatar?

    i know they have to be a certain size. how or who can do an avatar that is a moving image?
    ...so you have a V8......isn't that cute....

      The Max size of a avatar is 150 X 150

      they can be smaller on either direction.

      Avatars can be .gif files, or .jpg files.

      moving pics, or animated pics will be in the gif format.

        For those that don't have photoshop or don't want to pay for it should check out GIMP. They have a windows version and it's free.

            It's not too difficult
            I have a attached a reduced size of a very nice picture of a 68 GT. It was originally about 677KB. To big to post, but not too big to make into an avatar. The reduced size is now 218 KB and I can post it as attachment 1 below.
            Using a Program like Irfan View (free to download) I can easily "shrink" that image to 150x150 using a function that resizes the image, in this case 150x130. I have attached it too and YOU can now use it as your avatar until you make one of your own.
