  • OIl in Bad spot

Alright here goes i bought this SVO. First off it did not have a oil air seperator on the valve cover. All it had was a piece of hose with a large bolt in it. Next I found tons of OIL in the hose between the VAM and the Turbo inlet. The PCV valve seems to be ok. Can my turbo be shot and leaking oil, i know that there is a seal in there. Somebody help me what can it be. There is also tons of oil in the ToBody and intercooler. Just started recently thanx.
I'm not driving fast just flying low.

    No oil separator

The hose from the back of the valve cover feeds to the intake path. The oil separator is there to prevent oil from being drawn up the line. Once the oil is in the air path, the air flow will pull it up into the throttle body.
It is possible that there is a turbo problem, such as a bad seal, but I would suggest first going to one of the remote crankcase vent set-ups, and eliminate the possibility that the oil is coming from the crankcase vent before spending money on the turbo.
Remote vent the crankcase, remove and clean the throttle body, upper and lower hoses, and wipe out the VAM if necessary. Try and run it for a bit, then pull the upper and lower hoses, and see if the oil is back. No oil would be the good news.
