  • Hi-Miler Hoses?

I would like to install a set of Goodyear Hi-Miler hoses(the blue ones) in my car. I just don't think they make a set for the 4-cyl turbo. So my question is this: Can I use the 5.0 set? Or is there another set that would fit?

Anyone have info on this? Please advise...

    Thank, in advance,

I've tried and tried to find a set for a 2.3L. Goodyear used to make one and some stores still show it as a good part number, but when I've tried to order one, always comes back as unavailable. An unused set used to pop up on ebay once in awhile, but I haven't seen one on forever. Don'y know about a 5.0L set. My advise, go get a regular rubber upper and lower from your corner parts store and see of you can make'm fit.

      Lonchair,

      Thanks, Lon!

I guess that is my best option. I have not ever been able to find one for a 4 cyl either! I've never even found them listed!

I will go get a set of rubber ones, and if they work, I will post the results here!

      Thanks again...anyone else?

I have an 88 GT with a 5.0 and just looking at the hoses, they appear to be entirely different. You might be able to make the top hose work, but the bottom hose is way too short. I didn't check the diameter.
