I'm dying to get some new wheels on my SVO but I'm not sure which direction I should take or exactly which wheels to go with.
The cheapest route is to get some tires for the stock wheels. But the Mrs doesnt like them and I need to stick with that. I'm supposedly fixing up the car for her to follow me to car shows, I pretty much need to keep her happy about driving the car.
I'd like to get some 94-97 Cobra wheels if I can find some nice ones for a nice price. I have some Weld ProStars that I'm trying to sell that should easily cover their cost, but everyone that wants to buy them are morons that dont want to pay what they're worth(Corral). I'll probably just end up eBaying them this next week.
I also have an extra set of 99 Cobra wheels and some 1994 SN-95 spindles and calipers. I see from looking trough the forums that they dont fit very well so I'm not too determined to try. I dont want to give up my Konis since I'm trying to do this for a reasonable cost. Insalling some generic struts for the time being seems like a step backwards. I'd still need to get some different a-arms for the front adding to the cost of the conversion.
As you can see I have several different pats I can take but none of which are standing out as the way I'm going to go.
