I was JYing today and saw an 86 Lincoln LSC with aluminum wheels 225/50/16 tires do these fit our SVO's? They looked light and open compared to SVO wheels.

They fit and work just fine on an SVO. 86 LSC wheels are 15" and if anything, are heavier than the stock SVO wheel. There is no performance advatage to using them.
The BBS style LSC wheels are 16" and were used on the 90-92 Mark VII LSC. They will accomodate the same size 225/50/16 tires that the stock SVO wheels do. The stock LSC tires used with these wheels are 225/60/16, which is a bit larger in diameter than the stock SVO tire. Weight is about the same as the stock SVO wheel. They are a PITA to clean, however.Last edited by Eyelawdoc; 04-14-2007, 02:03 PM.

Thanks for the replys the wheels I saw were alot more open than the SVO wheels. They were 225/50/16 tires so I would guess they are the latter BBS style wheels. If they have the same offset as stock wheels they would work and vent much better than the stockers! For track wheels the cleaning isn't as much of an issue! At $20 each seemed like a good deal!Last edited by Bruce; 04-14-2007, 07:14 PM.Bruce

Project "White Trash SVO" currently wears a set of the early 15 x 6" LSC wheel. I've grown fond of them and have considered using them for a snow tire. The tire size for these should be a 195/65/15 to maintain the proper tire diameter. You might be able to see them on the avatar. My wife says it's a sickness...what do you think?

Hmm, I posted a wanted ad for this type of wheel. The more I look at the LSC wheel, the more I'm thinking I might want to go that route. Thanks for the pic Kendal!
