84 / 85 SVO exhaust tip

There is an exhaust shop near me that has the 84 / 85 style exhaust tail pipe that looks factory. Are these hard to come by or readily available all over? If they are hard to come by I can try to get pictures and a price if any one is interested.

The particular exhaust shop is one of those that has been around for > 50 years and has all kinds of whatever you might ever be looking for whatever year.

I've seen them sold elsewhere recently for about $50 but they used to pretty difficult to find.

You can get them at Advanced Auto parts for around $70. they have to order them but it only takes a couple of days. I am sure any parts store can get them.

The prior owner of my '84 5.0l coupe purchased a NOS tip for this car less than a year ago. If memory serves, I think the early SVO shares the same split-dual single exhaust pipe as the 5.0l's that year. Let me know and I can drop him a line to see if he remembers where he found it.

Made by Walker (OEM) and available at Midas etc. anyone that carries Walker products can order it for you from what I understand..

84/85 svo exhaust tip

I have seen the listing in walker's catalog but I dont know if it has the chrome plating on the tips like the original. Does anybody know for sure????

I can vouch for this Walker part number...ordered and came in today. I thought it was JUST the tip, but NOOOO...it's a 5 foot over the axle peice with the chrome dual tip welded on. I like it!!!! Thanks

Stinger has a dual SVO tip for $50.00 , has anybody tried this out?

that stinger part is just the tip...about 12" in length or so... the Walker part above your post is the complete over the axle pipe INCLUDING the dual chrome tip for 65 bones already welded on!
