Picked one of his prototypes up from Mr. Whelan while I was at his shop last Saturday. In the week I've had the support installed, I haven't noticed the wing bounce at all.
The support is a small cast, solid plastic piece that resembles one of the Cosworth wing supports for the big Sierra or Escort wings, only shrunk to fit between the bi wing and hatch glass. It is dyed gray to match the '85.5/'86 exterior trim and is airfoil shaped with mounting surfaces at the top and bottom.
The support is supplied with two stainless screws to attatch to the wing and foam tape to attatch to the back glass. I attatched mine with foam tape to the wing and glass and after a few trips up and down some bumpy roads, the tape is holding strong and my wing don't bounce.
I give it two thumbs UP
