Anti-Rattle Clip Installation

I will be installing anti-rattle clips on the rear brakes this week. It will be my first time taking the brakes apart. Does anyone have any recommendations or instructions on this installation?

How many clips per wheel?

Does anyone know how many anti-rattle clips go on each rear wheel? Do they go on both top and bottom of pad? Or just bottom?

There is one per side and it goes on the bottom...sits on the mounting bracket prior to pad installation...

How many anti rattle clips on the front?

I am putting on my new Koni struts today and am also trying to determine where my rattle in the front end is coming from.

For a refresher the rattle only comes over bumps and goes away as soon as the brake pedal is lightly depressed. When I pulled the wheel to day there is one spring like clip attached to my front caliper on the top.

Is that the only clip? or should there be one on the bottom?

I don't think anti-rattle clips are used on the front. I am sure someone else could verify.

Mine certainly has them on there. I was just curious if it should have two per caliper.

A common rattling cause with the front rotors is the lack of the plastic sleeve on the bolts....there are 2 rubber boots on each caliper but there is also supposed to be a plastic sleeve in there as well...if this is missing it will cause a rattle that goes away when the brakes are applied....
