my rear 225's won't pass and when i got the car last year i got a pair of 255/50/16's and they look good.
WIll they fit the stock rims and have ok clearance for a daily driver?
I've got them on the 06 bullet wheels. If I nail a right hander hard I scrap a little. They tend to wallow around the turns. The tires are new so I plan on wearing them out.
your 06 bullets are an 8 inch wheel, the stockers are a 7. 255s are alot of tire for a 7 inch wheel, i personally wouldnt do it because of sidewall flex and all that jazz but its your car, you can do as you please. but if you do, you might think about rolling the fender lips. just my .02.

I agree, 255's are too wide for a 7" wide rim. They will fit, I have seen folks squeeze 295's on phone dial 5.0L rims...not pretty IMHO. I had 245/50's on the stock wheels, but only in the rear. They would hit the fenders on big dips with a stock suspension. If you do put them on your stock rims, plan on rolling the rear fenders to prevent cutting the tire.
I agree, I personally would either trade or sell the tires you have and buy some 225's. I like the looks of a flat "tight" sidewall (I've ran 225's on an 8in wide wheel before) in the end its what your comfortable with...
