I was wondering if the people of higher SVO/Turbo Coupe education could put together a section that would describe all the parts that intechange between the two. For example, brake rotors, calipers and various other parts.
Just to let people know, it appears that the "CIBIE AIRPORT 35 " model lights are pretty much identical to the Marchals. They are also cheaper for the pair. If you go to www.cibie. com you will see what I mean. The lights are also available as fog or driving lenses as well as clear or amber lense color. I believe you have to use the CIBIE light covers which are sold separetely. Just thought I would pass this info along. By the way, I also found out that Marchal and Cibie are both french manufacturers which would explain the interchangability.
Woops! sorry about the posting on Cibie lights. Actually, the site is under www.cibielights com, and from there go to the upper left part of the screen and click on driving and fog lights and WALLA! the AIRPORT 35's are in the middle of the top row. I do want to say that I am not trying to loose business to Marchal retailers, only another avenue for lights. By the way you can also buy just the lens part as a replacement for anyone with cracked or chipped lenses currently. They do appear to have a different frame that goes around the glass, but I was told they bolt right up to the existing housing. Again, Marchal and Cibie appear to be one in the same.
