Lessons learned at '07 Reunion

9 hour drive and home safely. Lost my a/c for about 30 minutes, then it came back. I guess Annette (wife) gave it "the stare" and it started blowing cold again. Ran into some rain, was afraid to race anyone since Rick Trace cleaned my clock, and "toured" Kentucky for our 1st hour until we got on the right road!
Here are a few things I bet you all didn't know, and, as usual, feel free to add your own!

1. Joe Turbo is an EXCELLENT chauffeur! He needs to learn how to open a door with 2 drinks in his hands tho....
2. Never offer Pat a beer, unless you actually have a cold one!
3. Never stand around IndianDaves' SVO unless you are prepared to wrench!
3a. Don't wear a white shirt by it either!
4. Mike Fleming will take a picture of ANYTHING! Show the pic of your BBQ'ed wrist Mikey..,
5. If Bonnie (Pats' wife) and Gina (Joes' wife) won't make a decision, Annette (Fry's wife) will!
6. NavySVO (Kurt) can put away some steak! And Beer! Aw heck, you probably knew that one already!
7. TheViking (Ron) will give a bone to anyone! Steak bone that is, my dog Kobe thanks you very much Ron!
8. Rick Trace doesn't care if cops are around or not, he will still break 100mph and get mad if you don't play with him! With his car that is...
9. GAboy (Mike) drives WORSE on the real road than the race track!
10. And what list would be complete without Gator on it....come to think of it, was he at the reunion?

Ironically, in all the past 6-7 reunions I've been to, I've been the helper... Guess it all comes around... and was bound to happen to me.

I think Dragpak had him turning the cam to get it back together, or holding a light, hell we all were chasing tools. Most of us held lights too. Sorry about the car not being able to run but better to take your time than rush through a HG swap in the PL of the hotel.. At least you got to hang out for a bit. Was nice meeting you and the Mrs. as well as the rest there.

Actually - Wizard was there this year to assist with that. I due believe his SVO is older than he is.

Henson, True Dat! I still predict (If we get Booty out behind center!) 'SC will beat #2 Cal and move up to the title game! Just gotta have those pesky Buckeyes' lose! BTW, I think Mikey looks better in a Sombrero than you! Pics anyone?

I'd say Ginny schmidt was the youngest. She is DEFINATELY younger than her SVO!

Bring spare parts. especially t-bolt clamps. next year i will bring a complete set of spares.

..and spare automotive wire.
...and stronger zip ties.

... and a jack with jack stands. improper jacking is a no-no. :X

I don't know if everyone could bring more spare parts than John B did this year! He even GAVE a cam to IndianaDave! His other prices were give away too I heard, but I wouldn't know 'cause he sold my E6 exhaust out from under me! Just teasin' John. Besides Alex, who ever recognizes the front of you? All I ever see is the back of your head as you are tucked away in the engine bay! Now you go and SHAVE your head! Very confusing!
