Repro front marker

Well, after just less than two years of having a Carpenter repro front inner marker on the BWD, the clear lens just separated from the back side housing. Luckily no damage was done. I just noticed that it looked unusual when walking by it today, and sure enough it was separated. I'll just JB Weld it back together and continue. All in all, I'm happy with the part's fit and finish. This is just a cautionary note to check them every once in a while.

Good idea to check them fairly often.

Well, the originals had this problem. It's no surprise that the repros do as well. Somewhat disconcerting, however!

Good news / Bad news?

The good is that I thought I was the only one with the same issues (sorry guys!) Both my front inners seperated within 30 here as well.

The bad news is I havent seen anything better.

They looked so good and since I noticed the seperation before I lost both of the lenses, I will simply use a clear silicone adhesive to seal them up till something better comes along.
