EGR plummed into Header without EGR Set up

Hey everybody, I am in the process of getting a tubular header that does not have a port for the EGR valve. Has anyone had this problem? Im thinking of putting a port on the downpipe and connecting the EGR to there. Does it really have to be in the Header or do you think this will work? If not, I'll have to have it tuned for no EGR...

Have a welder add a pipe bung to the collector for you.

either way, as long as i get it in the header or very close to it i should be fine... i think. We shall see. Thanks for the ideas
