a friend of mine has some 16in black bullitt wheels. he wants the wheels off my 84 when I switch to 5 lug. so I told him I would trade for the bullitts. he will trade me. so I know the offset is right for the svo but what about the center caps....will they fit. I hear some of the wheels dont work because of the centercaps...but the tires are 215/65/16's so I might have to get a lower profile tire.

Paragraph is confusing. Are they 05 and up bullits. I thought that the sn95 wheels had the wrong offset? I just mounted a set of 05 bullits and I dremeled the center cap just enough to clear the newly reshaped bearing cap and it sits flush with out those fancy new centers. The tires are stock and I get full crank with no rub but my rears rubs a bit due to the IRS pushing them out a bit.<<<

He has an 84 GT 'vert that I assume this question is about. The SN197 wheels don't fit those as well as they fit the SVO's. Also 16 inch Bullits sounds like aftermarket as I think all of the factory ones were 17 inch, so who knows what offset they might be.Danny

I have 2 cars. an 84 gt that is going to be converted to 5 lug. also an 86 svo. the guy has 2 cars. a 06 and a 85. his 85 is 4 lug so he wants the wheels off my gt for that car. I want the bullitts off his 06. they have an r in the middle and are not the stock wheels. they are 16". so I suppose since they are aftermarket you wouldn't know the center caps. guess it will have to be trial and error. thanks
