  • Bi-Wing Support

I'm aware that a member of the club have bi-wing supports for sale, and I was thinking of pulling out the money to get them, but then I ran across this one: 180247829042

Found it on eBay accidentally. With no disrespect, I do prefer the look of this one-piece over the two-piece that Chris produces.

But does anyone know if they perform the same?

    Thanks!

The ones from the club provider are adjustable, metal, and they also seat in the screw holes.

I don't think the ones from ebay are as nice, but that's my opinion.

      Agree

I agree with Eric. The one piece is okay, but the 2 piece is the way to go. Basically, it depends on your budget. Is Chris still producing his? If so, what is the cost now?

I ordered one of those on EBay and am waiting for it to arrive. Once it gets here, I will give you an update.

I have a set of Chris's on my 86 and I wouldn't use anything else.

I put one of those on my car about a month ago. It looked pretty good, but the angle is not quite right to sit flush with both the wing and the window. I thought I would move it just a bit and i snapped pretty easily. It is cheap to buy, but also pretty cheap quality.

It was from lotekengineering and was $12.00. Like I said I thought it looked cool, and may not have broke if I did not try to adjust it. I think I may order another and try again. The double sided tape is pretty stong so you have to be sure and put it in the place you want it, cause it wont want to move once it sticks.

TB - thanks, he went down on the price, I paid $14 each. Bought one for a friend also. I'll be careful when I place it, since it's super sticky tape. See what happens.

Bought mine middle of May and they did not arrive on time, so I emailed him and he is sending another set.
