i thought i would share my project for the day and see what you all thought of them.
i set out last night to find someone that knows someone who could/would swap my tires and balance "for a cheap price" on to the set of simmons rims i picked up from vrinner , luckily i found said person late last night . he is also a mech. at the local ford dealer . so about 10:00am , we set out to do the swap , home by 12:00pm and 20 bucks later my tires are mounted and balanced .
installed the rims/tires and get in to start only to find i hadnt put the cluster back in the car , from when i repaired the "pulled loose" wire on the flexable board
. reinstall cluster and attempted to start . it fires , but runs really poorly and i can hear a big vaccume leak . i shut it down and start to looking but couldnt find it at first , started again and i got under the hood real fast to try and locate it . still couldnt find it but i had the area localized so i shut it down again . started pulling on vaccume lines till i found the bad one, it was the line that hooks to the pcv and goes to the under side of the intake , fixed said hose and "bang" it fired right up and purrrrred
anyways here are the pics of the rims on my car
