prostars???

will prostars fit a stock 86 svo without any mods? I have 96 cobras on already and fit great but I was thinking about prostars for when I go to the track

if you get the correct backspacing yes..... i have a set of 10 holes (welds racing). the skinnes ever so slightly rubbed the spring that's attached to the brake pad.

I believe the rears are 5.5 backspacing, but not for sure....

Unfortunately, they do not have a ProStar back spacing that will work well the rear of a SVO.

My Capri is all SVO underneath. I have been running 15 x 3 1/2" fronts with a 26-7.50 MT sportsman front, no issues. The only thing I could get to fit well on the back was a Draglite, 15 x 7 with a 5.5 BS. I ran that with a 26-10.50-15 ET street. I did the SVO brake flip last winter, and went to fox length axles to put a 15 x 8 5.5 BS Pro Star on the rear (with a 27" tall tire).

There are a few SVO guys with 15x8 x 5.5 BS but they stik out too much in my opinion.

I have some 15x8", 5.5" BS Greg Welds, I had to do some grinding to my rear calipers. I haven't tried the fronts yet, since 165/80R15 tires have become extremely scarce.
