Will an 86 Hood fit on a GT?

I have an 86 GT, but am interested on installing a ram air hood. Would the 86 SVO's hood fit on my GT?? Or are the front ends different?

there are plenty of ram air hoods available from the aftermarket that will fit on your car, sell the original svo hood and buy a new fiberglass hood. A lot of svo owners are looking for a good original svo hood. The svo has a lot of parts that are specific to it and the hood is one. Parts are getting scarce and hoods are on high demand, i bet you could get your money's worth if you sold it on this site. What i am getting at is this: 5.0's have plenty of support from the aftermarket, which i think you should use, and svo's have very little. So leave the svo specific parts to the svo owners.

What Eric is eluding to is that this site is for the preservation and enjoyment of the Mustang SVO. Not raping their parts to use on a different type of car...especially if there are SVO owners out there looking for these same parts. There are aftermarket pieces made to use for what you are looking for.

So, please, do what you want to do, but repect those of us who are genuine owners looking for these parts.
