that's a long handle.. personaly I have the triax shifter and handles in both my stangs and love the placement. it is very comfortable for my long arms and compared to the stocker.. it's night and day!

MGW here.. best shifter you can buy IMHO. kind of pricey though.

I have the Steeda TriAx on both my SVO and Pace Car. I'm using the Steeda handle and leather boot in the SVO but I'm using the Hurst Shift Improvement kit you have pictured above on the Pace Car. I prefer the feel and location of the Hurst handle pictured to the TriAx handle. Even with the TriAx handle as far up on the shifter as it will go I still have to reach a little.

If I thought it would fit underneath the leather boot I'd switch the SVO to the Hurst handle. I don't want to replace my leather boot with the Hurst specific boot.

Roger (Ninja Boy) has that shifter and it looks awesome in the car. I have been debating it myself.

had a kirban in mine for about 5 years now, I like it a lot, but that MGW is supposed to be the shinizzle

Some people had mentioned that the mgw is wider , and might not fit real well in the stock boot. Anyone had that problem ?

I don't have one but I've seen pictures of one in the stock boot. It looks like crap because it twists the boot all up around it. Not a great fit.

Pro5.0 in mine, and I'm happy with it, happy enough to not want to pony up the $$ to switch it out with something else. I've heard good things about the Steeda TriAX...

I seen Ninjaboy's at the reunion, I had to sit in it and shift it, and had to get one myself. It is alittle longer but, I like it as I am not a power shifter anyway.

I've got a Steeda handle on a MAC base. For a very good Ebay price, I'm happy with it.
Don't miss those 3rd gear shifts nearly as much.
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

I saw pics of your engine. You're missing 3rd gear sitting in the driveway?

I was going to get a Pro 5.0, but they were out when I went to order. Got the B&M Ripper. I like it.

Pro 5.0. It's much better than the original Hurst; but I like the look of the Hurst Comp.
