local ford dealer says they only sell one type, hopefully its used for synthetic gear oil,what's the part number for the synthetic type modifier?
and to find amsoil is ridiculous so going to use mobil 1."Bold in concept and intelligent in execution."Comment

Actually, if my memory serves me right, Ford used to offer 2 types of modifier. The 4 oz bottle I have sitting on my shelf has p/n C8AZ-19B546-A. I have been running this with Mobil 1 for years w/o any issues.Originally posted by SVOeric View PostTed
