non-adjustable konis on early 84??help!!!

i am now on my second early '84 svo with non adjustable koni's. I haven't taken these out yet but the ones in my other svo had inserts(replaceable cartridge). They look like the original konis and have the ford part # on them as well as the koni stamp-so do my others. Koni swears they never built anything like this ever. i would like to have them rebuilt-both cars have less than 80,000 miles and look like the came on the cars. Any one else ever seen anything like this???? These are both early 84's with traction bars. thanks!!!!!!

Are the inserts black? Gaberial makes a replacement cartridge for the svo koni.I am running them in my svo now.The koni cartridge is removed and a completey sealed Gaberial cartridge replaces it.

and they are in the red koni tube right,they look like a koni but with no ajustment on the top.You unscrew a alum plug from the top and the cartridge pulls out.
autozone has them.
