Well, I finally did it. After a day trip to Jim Whelan's Motion Dynamics (much apprectiation to both Jim and Brian!) where Jim allowed me to drive his car which is outfitted with H & R springs I bit the bullet.
I managed to find some H & R's and poly front control arm bushings on e-bay and then purchased through MD: new Koni's, poly spring isolators (front and rear), Maximum Motorsports rear LCA's and Caster/Camber plates.
I managed to find time to put everything together over the weekend, got an alignment Monday, and actually drove the car on dry roads (its been raining here) Tuesday.
WOW!!!!! What a huge difference!!! The car is absolutely wonderful.
My original struts were both blown (when I unbolted the passenger side from the strut mount the shaft actually retracted into the body from just gravity), so I expected there to be a big difference, but...it's amazing.
I took ride height measurements at all four fenderwells as well as at the front and rear of the rocker panel ( I've got actual numbers if anyone is interested), the car dropped aprox. 1.125" in the rear and .75" in the front.
Just wanted to share my joy with others who can appreciate it.
