  • What to pack

I have said this before so I'll say it again..

Everyone please pack a fire extinguisher. It costs so little and it can do so much.

    Thanks,

    Dana

That or insure it heavily and bring 5 gallons of gasoline and a match.

Both options are good to consider, in a strange kind of way. I have had a little extinguisher since I saw a georgeous street rod burst into flames while street racing one night. Folks got the flames out, but there was some paint/wiring damage...scary stuff.

Pat is going to tell me I suck for this but...

I was going to bring a new / un-opened 48 year old bottle of Scotch.

I got it as a birthday gift from my boss when I worked part time at a liquor store. It was 25 years old in 1985...

I've even forgotten the name of the distillary it has been so long ago but I know it was one of the most famous / oldest / limited production places in Scotland.

I'll try to dig it out and scrape the dust off to take a pic next time I'm at my house.

And it's useful for putting fires out?

I'll get a pic of the bottle next time I'm up at the house. I remember it was a very old small time producer who was bought out by Dewars in the mid 80s. It was supposed to have been from one of the last cases delivered to the US / Atlanta area. I think it was a fifth and it was in a fancy box and bottle.

I'll save it and you get the first shot.

Naw, you gotta go more compact.......you know, travel light.

A brick with a road flare duct taped to it. No need to unlock the door either!
