Less than two seconds between the North and South total. That's pretty close when divided by six drivers. Like .2 would have made a difference.

Rob Rovers and Dave S kicked butt considering they were street driven to the Reunion and not trailered.

          Autocross

My first autocross as well, what a blast. The spelling should be Jim Cash

I was really impressed how the local SCCA club ran the event, professional and friendly.

I'm also pleased the car made the 1300 mile round trip without incident and 10 runs without knocking a cone over Caz had fun riding shotgun, almost got him to take the wheel, but he didn't want to mess up the North vs. South thing.

Can't wait to do it again!

Thank you from the both of us. We had a great time. The first time I ever got the chance to push my car hard enough into a turn to safely find out where my car will break loose, awesome. And I did a couple of times, one I included a cone, or two!

We are both planning to join the local SCCA for next season. For me, B-springs and better tires are on deck. Car ran really well, nothing to change there. Just the Driver. Hopefully by next years reunion, I will have improved my times. I will also be putting my name into the hat for the South...

Hmmm... Everyone's real identities are given, except Gators... Always wondered about that guy.

Wish I would've made it in time... Oh well. Next year!

Really looking at it though, considering the a wide variety of cars (stock, high mileage, restored, modified, etc..) and range of drivers experience, 7 seconds serperating the top and bottom times on a 35-40 second course is pretty a pretty tight field overall.
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

stupid cones, always getting in the way!

btw, bErg, not burg. common mistake. bet i would have picked up a few tenths if i wasnt running 25psi of air in the tires

Guess that means we'll have up to 5 SVOs (6 if my oldest son starts autocrossing) at our local SCCA events next year. How cool is that!

Odd, when I took my avitar picture I owned the black SVO...now I own the blue SVO.

The auto-X is such a blast!!! I wish I could do it more often. Sometimes I think its a shame to push the green car that hard, but I'm always rewarded with how well it performs. I think the B springs and tires certainly helped this year. A little more practice is in order for next year...
My wife says it's a sickness...what do you think?
