I was doing a fluid change on my tranny and out came automatic trans fluid! will this hurt anything? what should I do to flush it all out? any tips on replacement fluid maybe royal purple?

automatic trans fluid is what is run in these.

Nothing is wrong. That is what is used for T5s. There are lots of different brands and opinions on what to use.

I like using Mobil 1 synthetic ATF.
I have it in 3 cars and never had an issue.

When I was doing my clutch, my buddy freaked out because his S10 also had the Borg-Warner T5, but takes 80w-90 gear oil. I ended up using regular Castrol ATF after consulting with a few people.
