Are you talking about the Ford Racing M-4602-G or some aftermarket piece?
I did that and it got rid of a nasty vibration at 55 MPH. Mine was around 180 three years ago. I'm sure its more now.
Remember to put LOK TIGHT on the bolts. And you may have to "turn" the new driveshaft 90 degrees (after you put it on) if you get a new vibration.

Can't turn it 90*. The bolt holes won't line up. It's 180* or nothing.

Trust me when I say its no fun taking them every 12 hours. The pills they have me on leave me in a pretty "high" state all day.
          Please forgive my typo's
But wasn't there a certain color (yellow) of LOK TIGHT you are supposed to use?

That drive shaft is really nice looking. Makes you want to be careful not to drive in the rain, or occasionally get under there and spray it off.
Can you imagine explaining to your neighbors you are just cleaning your drive shaft?
I believe there are dots on the shaft ends but they don't tell you if that means heavy or light side.
Either way, have a nice afternoon.

Can you just imagine seeing 2 side markers under the Christmas tree in shiny NOS Ford boxes? How amazing would that be.......I need a life.

                        I'm not making this up!
I swear I read (maybe even in here somewhere) how to install the aluminum driveshaft, to use a specific type of loktight, and if it vibrates take it off and rotate it. There was even a specific torque given for the bolts (pretty high if I recall).

                              Transmission seal

When you install the driveshaft replace the rear transmission seal.
The original seal may seem to be ok but it is brittle - once the old d.s. is removed and the new is installed it will leak then transmission fluid flies back onto the mufflers. Been there, done that.........
Nothing like driving to the store and seeing smoke around your SVO when you park.
