What are the biggest brakes you can fit with stock wheels?

I plan on getting an aftermarket set of 16" or 17" wheels for track use, but would like to be able to put the stock rims on whenever I want.
Am I stuck with stock size slotted or drilled rotors?

You can use the Wilwood 12" kit and retain the stock wheels.
The spindles need to be modified by removing the caliper mounting points and some holes to be drilled and tapped. A friend put them on his 86 SVO track car and he likes them.

I have just received the templates from Baer Brakes in regards to the 12 inch A sedan (sport) brake systems using the stock SVO spindle and a SN95 spindle. In short, NEITHER of the 12 inch sport systems will fit with the stock SVO wheels. The "fins" on the back of the wheels interfere with the caliper. If you were to use a 1/4 inch wheel spacer, the SVO modified spindle Sport system will fit, however...
