    with the svo mustangs are you able to run the regular mustangs tubular K-member and reuse your own control arm or does it have a different set up. That would make working on the car easier and get it closer to a 50/50 weight distribution

    I used the QA1 tubular K-member from Jegs. I don't know if all the tubular K-members are like this, but it's wider than the stock K-members by about an inch, so you may run into wheel/fender clearance problems. My car was in an accident, bent and straightened and still the "regular Mustang" tubular K-member went right in, absolutely no problems.

    As far as the control arms go, I can't help you there, I went with a complete front end SN95 conversion, so I didn't use the stock control arms.

      I was wondering about that though because it would take a lot of weight off the front end. although the conversion would make finding parts easier although a lot of people would think that was wrong because your changing the SVO.

        OK -- What can we do to get rid of this "anti-mod" Stero-type ???

        ALL of the board of directors of this club have modified cars, some EXTREMELY modified. (lee clary for example-- I don't think he has any stock suspension componets left!).
        I think the total on members is somewhere in the neighborhood of 99.7% own modified SVO's.

        Modifying the suspension to get better performance is not something that is frowned upon.

        Changing the car into somehting that there are already millions of out there (IE: slapping a V8 into it) IS frowned upon.
