Another 8.8 question

The rear end in my 84 has gone South. I know lots of you have swapped yours for an 8.8 out of 87 & 88 Turbo Coupes. I have an 86 Turbo Coupe with rear drums. Will it work, and what is involved in changing the brakes?

You just remove and swap the brakes and axles onto the 8.8. The left brake line will need some minor bending here and there but not a big deal at all.

It's the perfect time to replace or service the 8.8 differential before you install it. I opted for a Auburn diff when I did this swap on my 84.
