Trans Fluid

The trans fluid in the t-5 looks like ATF. I know some muanufacurers use ATF in there manuals. What is a good oil to use the T-5?

ATF, just pick your brand. DO NOT use the typical gear oil found in older transmissions

I used Ford Mercon Works great. Also in my 83 Escort GT it also preformed well

Been running Mobil1 ATF for years w/o any issues. Just don't throw in any friction modifier...not needed for the tranny.
