The Canadian Export

We may have finally wore out the MINI. So we started working on the '86 black Canadian export. If you remember the story, we bought it in LA, it blew its turbo oil supply 70 miles from home. We finally got it home and found the turbo seals were leaking. Its been mothballed ever since because my son didn't want to work on it. Will he does now. So he has ported the upper and lower intakes and we are starting to put it back together.

Upgrading the turbo a little? At least a larger downpipe.

We have a full three inch system for it, I just have to weld it together. I'm not sure that I want to install it, because if he craps out again I'm just going to sell the car.
