  • Having trouble finding a dogbone..

Is there another name that it goes by? I broke mine sunday and cannot find it on autozones site or orielys. I searched on here and found some pt#'s for the dogbone cable but not the dogbone its self.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I broke the piece that goes into the fork itself and has the nut on it. My little 2in cable is new.

Have several extras: cables and the 'U' shaped piece with the pin. PM with addy and will send free.

A photo of the part would help ID the thing. "Dogbone" is the 2" cable that NavySVO mentioned. Do you mean the bellcrank that bolts to the bellhousing?

The "U" shaped piece is the same part (clevis yoke) used on the handbrake cable. The 2" cable with the ball swaged on the end is the dogbone. The big lever with the bolt going into the bellhousing is a bellcrank. The clutch fork is the piece sticking out of the bellhousing. Draw a circle or arrow hilighting the broken part.

Wish I could circle it,don't have that ability on my phone.

I need the silver piece in the photo that is going into the clutch fork. Has the little ball on the end. The ball busted off mine, now my clutch pedal is on the floor.

Autozone. Pioneer part number CA-653. 12 bucks. My store keeps them in stock for me.

I've broken both the dog bone cable and the clevis/u-shaped thing in the past.
