This is not yet a product review since I haven't installed the gearbox. I'll update this sometime this week.

I dealt with Linda sometime before the last reunion to get me a couple of steel bearing retainers. Sharp lady, very helpful.

Talked to Bob on a rebuild/upgrade on the gearbox before this reunion (is a pattern forming?) he spent a good 45 minutes educating me on things I didn't know. Got the gearbox ready to ship, called and spent another 30 minutes with Bob discussing my needs/wants.

Shipped the gearbox on Tuesday, it arrived Friday. Monday Linda called me with an estimate and to get billing info, gearbox was shipped back to me on Tuesday and arrived Friday.

If I had to complain, Linda implied my gearbox would ship on Tuesday, but I never got a tracking number.

Shipping ran about $100 each way, the rebuild/upgrade cost was most reasonable.

Despite my best intentions; around the 150 mile mark the gearbox began to get a good thrashing.

Hanlon offers more that just fast shipping; pre-sales support was great (probably 2 hours total on a 1K job).

I've yet to drop the hammer on it fully, when it does drop I probably won't post it before the Reunion.

I'm loving the new 1-2 shift, and hitting reverse with no grinding.

Ahh, the thoughts of a quiet 1-2 shift are almost too much to pass up. Good to know we have someone who can rebuild these transmissions with good service.
