We're taking a break at the hotel before several of the remaining hold outs get together for dinner.

Ty's car broke (terminal engine damage). So he's busy moving things around, trying to arrange some logistics of getting it back to Alabama.

We set things up with the SCCA guys to host the Autox for us again - same bat-place, same bat-time.
Prelim dates for the Reunion 2010 is Oct 8-10.

I wish I was there. I would have gladly hauled it back for him.

The hotel looked like a better set-up than the last reunion I attended. Is this going to be our hotel of choice for next year?

Car spit and sputtered a little, but got us home. I've got a to do list going in my head already. Glad it wasn't anything major, and hope Ty is able to arrange something. Does he work tomorrow?
The Schmidts all made it home too, but he's going on a recon mission for Williams friends car tonight... His work is never done!
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

All ended up ok....we attribute the problem to "blowing out the carbon" during the autocross.
Odd, when I took my avitar picture I owned the black SVO...now I own the blue SVO.

dude, when the dates are offical, it will be all over the web-site.....

don't start asking for vacation on those dates just yet... the scca has to retain the site (city has to OK it), has to be approved by the show site.... so there's still some chance it could be moved.

Got home at 9:00 last night. One fill up before I left and no potty breaks. For some reason I'm faster without a female in the truck? Hmm...

It was 250 miles Hotel Lot to driveway. No 20 mile over shoot this time!

Ran into some early snow in Wisconsin / Minnesota, and some pesky trailer light issues along the way, but pulled into the driveway at 4PM. 14 hours.

Pulled into Mass about 11:00 PM tonight. Rich, Ron, Jason, and I left Ky around 5:00 AM this morning. As far as I know - everyone from the Northeast convoy made it home safe and sound.

Another one for the record books!!! Great event ~ thanks SVOCA

Hey Dave thanks for the offer on the possible rescue. Got some time this evening to spend with her. She would not start this evening, no headlights, and the power inside was gone. I found the problem. After changing the Regulator and the Ign. Switch with no avail, followed it to the Positive battery cable. Wire brushed the ends and all is well, going to drive it to work tomorrow. Sometimes it's the smallest of things. I hate chasing down elec. issues, but at least I found this one. Also finally installed PatinLa's 100amp fuse wire, I bought last year. The charging is up quite a bit. Thanks Pat! Also thank you Eric C. for helping me on the path taken. Should have started with the cables.
